Cadhay, Devon

Cadhay is a very special wedding venue - a striking Tudor home built around a central courtyard and is surrounded by lawns, ponds and stunning grounds, ensuring the most beautiful wedding photography. It especially suits those who are looking for somewhere atmospheric and individual to extend their wedding celebrations over a longer period of time than just the single day. The couple and their guests can occupy the entire property for a long weekend or a full week, allowing them to create lasting and unforgettable memories for their family and friends. Licensed for civil ceremonies, Cadhay is a beautiful, historic and very special place to enjoy a once in a lifetime occasion. Couples may choose a traditional Church Wedding and then use the Cadhay estate for their Wedding Breakfast and Evening Celebrations with their nearest and dearest staying in the manor house. Alternatively, they could hold the entire Wedding at Cadhay, including the ceremony, the choice is entirely up to them.


Broughton Hall, North Yorkshire The Broughton Hall Estate is the perfect setting for bringing friends and family together to celebrate a momentous occasion. Three stunning venues, each totally individual, can be booked alone or combined for a spectacular weddingweekend that will surprise and delight  guests. The couples can choose to hold their celebration in a contemporary garden venue designed by Sir Michael Hopkins, a party house aptly named Eden that can accomodate a marquee within its grounds, or the main hall itself where guests can turn their celebration into a magnificent stately memory. From an intimate celebration of 25, to a grand affair of up to 300 guests, the team at Broughton Hall will ensure that every wedding on the estate is designed individually just for the couple.


Alnwick Castle, Northumberland  Alnwick Castle is one of the UK’s most iconic sites – and an iconic wedding venue. There are two venues to choose from, The Guest Hall and Hulne Abbey. The atmospheric Alnwick Castle Guest Hall has a beautifully restored beamed roof and stone archways – a totally stunning wedding venue. The banqueting hall is available throughout the year for wedding ceremonies, and receptions and can accommodate up to 200 guests for ceremonies and 160 for wedding breakfasts. Weddings also have use of the Castle Courtyard or the Gun Terrace, with sweeping views over the gardens. Hulne Abbey is a truly exclusive and enchanting venue, nestled on a hillside in the private parklands of the Duke of Northumberland. Surrounded by medieval walls and founded in the 13th century as a Carmelite monastery, Hulne Abbey is licensed for wedding ceremonies, whilst couples are able to host a reception in the grounds from March-September. Hulne Abbey is brilliantly flexible, allowing celebrations to be as intimate or extensive as each couple imagines – for up to 500 guests. Alnwick Castle is also available for exclusive use for a truly magical experience.


Holkham Hall, Norfolk  For many centuries, Holkham Hall has wowed guests with lavish parties and remains one of the most beautiful weddingvenues in the country. Today, its timeless elegance means it’s the perfect location to get married in north Norfolk. Whether couples are planning a spectacular wedding or a more intimate affair, Holkham has a wide variety of venuesavailable to guarantee that couples and their guests will have a day to remember. Wide sweeping parkland landscapes, elegant courtyards and Roman inspired interiors make this stunning country estate a magnificent backdrop for every wedding. Holkham has a number of spaces available, including several stunning venues licensed for civil ceremonies. Spectacular options are also available for evening receptions, from the versatile Lady Elizabeth Wing - a blank canvas to bring a dream wedding to life, the idyllic Temple tucked away in the parkland, or the magnificent setting of Holkham by the Lake.


Myres Castle, Fife Myres Castle aims to combine impeccable service with the relaxed feeling of staying with friends. The castle dates back to the 1530s with outstanding formal gardens and now offers 10 en-suite bedrooms with additional space in the gate lodge. The Barnquee - a specially designed hybrid between a barn and marquee - built in the gardens with local larch tree supports and is unique to the Castle, offering something away from the norm. There is space to seat 160 guests, a rustic bar, and beautiful light filtering through the canvas roof and the trees above.


Goodwood, West Sussex From the magnificence of Goodwood House to the classical style of The Kennels and the contemporary luxury of the Hotel, the estate offers a unique range of wedding venues for ceremonies and celebrations. Set in 12,000 acres of historic, majestic parkland Goodwood House boasts stunning backdrops for wedding photos, and with a license to host ceremonies, the couple can host their entire day there. The attentive and dedicated in-house events team will be on hand to assist the couple with anything throughout the planning process, and with the experience of hosting banquets for over 1,000 guests, nothing is too daunting a task for them! The wedding breakfast and evening reception will be completely bespoke, cooked by esteemed chefs using ingredients inspired by Goodwood Home Farm – one of the largest self-sustaining, organic farms in Europe – you and your guests will be privileged to enjoy beautiful dishes full of flavour.



Victoria Baths, Manchester For a wedding with a difference that will be remembered by couples and their guests for years to come, Victoria Baths is the venue to choose. Steeped in history and Victorian grandeur, there are a variety of dramatic and unconventional spaces available which guests can add their own personal flair to. Get married in the deep end of the disused pool, a drinks reception in the Turkish Baths, followed by a wedding breakfast and plenty of dancing. Victoria Baths is licenced for both ceremonies and receptions, with ceremonies being possible on any of five different spaces including the pools themselves and the Turkish Baths Rest Room with its amazing Angel of Purity stained glass window.


St Giles House, Dorset St Giles House, the finest country house wedding venue in Dorset, is located in the heart of the countryside and licensed to exclusive-use hold civil ceremonies in any of the principal rooms in the house as well as in the park. For an intimate ceremony (up to 20 guests) the delicate shell grotto is a magical setting and for the more traditional ceremony Wimborne St Giles church is located just next door. Surrounded by fireplaces and family portraits, the couple can choose from a variety of principal rooms, accommodating up to 120 guests in the Library and 72 in the Great Dining room and North Drawing room. After the meal, the venue’s award winning nightclub and speakeasy bar, with its state of the art light and sound system, awaits the couple and their guests. With no neighbours to tell you to turn the music down guests are free to dance the night away before getting straight into bed in the luxury on-site accomodation for up to 22 people.
